The Result of Boring Vehicular Trips

Yes, when I'm bored, in a car or bus, I think of riddles. Here's a few to amuse you. Comment away with the answers and I'll say if you're correct or not:

Up or down, my arms are many. As for legs? I don't have any, and yet I survive...

I rise, I fall, with the end of the month I grow ever small.

Bound I can never be, to be useful you must capture me; my end no one shall ever see.

I allow all things to fly, but by my fist a miner may die.
